Hot Chick Bites the Dust!

This one had us perplexed for a bit. Was this girl injured in a tragic Twinkie eating accident? Upon further review, we concluded that is supposed to be the Iowa Hawkeye "Hot Chick" in the girl's mouth. A novel attempt, but we think you can do better. Maybe at least throw in a feather or something to clue us in. Either way- we like the effort. Hopefully it is not representative of the Ohio State graphic design program. Oh yeah- we know that is not your "girlfriend" Dan. This is not our first time on the internet! Good work folks- keep the entries coming.

Our First "Hot Chick"

Apparently Dr Photo Blog is taking a detour from hot modeling photos and stirring up what appears to be a Big Ten rivalry. In response to our request for models wearing college gear, we received this gem. Lets be honest- the girl photos we have are still not "top shelf" and this one made us laugh. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Oh yeah- if you want to see more ladies and less animals its time for you to take action!

We actually received several photos before the deadline, unfortunately many looked like safari beasts. As an added incentive, we will give special consideration to any photo containing college gear from the school of your choice. At the end of the month we will deem one school supreme and don their logo on our site for 30-days. GO HAWKS!

Keep the photos coming. We are giving you the rest of the morning to submit the BEST amateur modeling photos you can get your hands on. Your wife, girlfriend, or even the girl in the cubicle next to you. No donkeys please. If we are not satisfied with the photos by later this afternoon you are all getting a dose of "birding" photos from Uncle Dave. We aren't kidding people!

I realize Dr Photo Blog is just getting started, but its time to step up people. As you know this site is meant to contain photos of amateur models trying to get their big break. So far we have barely photos to run our first month's contest (and even fewer adhering to the "no nudity" rule). These are a couple photos I received in an email a few weeks back. The following article is interesting. Is this the real deal, or another Hogzilla? You be the judge.

Oh- and keep those photos coming. We dont want to be showing bear pics forever (although we cant rule out the occasional beaver!)

These pictures are of a man who works for the US Forest Service in Alaska, and his trophy bear. He was deer hunting last week when the large grizzly charged him from about 50 yards away. The guy emptied his 7mm Magnum semi-automatic rifle into the bear and it dropped a few feet from him. The big bear was still alive so the hunter reloaded and shot it several times in the head. The bear was just over one thousand six hundred pounds. It stood 12' 6' high at the shoulder, 14' to the top of his head. It is the largest grizzly bear ever recorded in the world.

The Alaska Fish and Wildlife Commission did not let him keep it as a trophy, of course; but the bear will be stuffed and mounted, and placed on display at the Anchorage airport to remind tourists of the risks involved in the wild. Analyzing contents of the bears stomach, the Fish and Wildlife Commission established the bear had killed at least two humans in the past 72 hours,
including a hiker missing two days prior to the bear's own death. Backtracking from where the bear had originated, the US Forest Service found the hiker's emptied 38-caliber pistol. Not far from the pistol was the remains of the hiker. The other body has not been found. Although the hiker fired six shots and managed to hit the grizzly with four (that the Service ultimately retrieved, along with twelve 7mm slugs, inside the bear's body), it only wounded the bear and probably angered it immensely.

Think about this:

If you are an average size man, you would be level with the bear's navel when he stood upright. The bear would look you in the eye when it walked on all fours! To give additional perspective, this bear, standing on its hind legs, could walk up to an average single story house and look over
the roof; or stand beside a two story house and look in the upper bedroom windows.

Dr Photo Blog is scheduled to be live Monday, May 19, 2008. We plan on featuring daily photos of aspiring female models. It will then be up to you, the reader, to vote on your favorites. Since most women are just waiting for their big break, there should be no shortage of material for this site. If you know of someone who could benefit from the exposure of having their photo shown on our site, please have them submit their photos. They can also use the link on the left side of our page below our network sites. Do not forget to include all contact information they want published with the photo if selected. Our advertisers will not allow us to publish nudity, but other than that anything goes so have fun with it!
